This place is still amazing. Wanted to update with some photos. Tried this place a few years ago and I think it just keeps getting better.

Altoona Gourmet Buffet was a surprise. It's a large restaurant with a large selection. Entrees, sides, deserts. There is a lot. I've been there twice now and have tried most of the standards (sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, General Taos ) and all were good. You can't help but fond something there you will like. In addition there are at least three types of shrimp, n mushrooms, and a variety of appetizers. I'd say the only thing that I had any reservations about was the egg rolls. They were soft and mushy and somewhat dried out. Everything else I tried however was good and some were better than good. For an all you can eat buffet with so many choices you really can't go wrong.

Way better than my visit last year. More seafood, better food and the best crab Rangoon I've ever had. Light and crispy and over filled with light creamy crab filling. Our server Andy was very pleasant and attentive. They even have perfectly fried breaded zucchini and many new items on buffet. This is now our Go-to place in Altoona!

Always well stocked buffet with a fantastic selection of Chinese food and American food. Fair prices and reasonably clean and generally friendly staff.

Very wide selection of food. The food was hit and fresh at 1pm on a Tuesday. Employees were very friendly and the restaurant was very nice and well kept.
